On behalf of the entire Gangsta Gang Community, I'd like to thank and distinguish Andrew "Fijianthug" Naicker for his extraordinary contributions to this clan. Here's a man that has proven that you don't have to have money or inherited social stature to be a major figure in a gaming clan or community. Gangsta Gang Gaming would like to officially recognize Fijianthug for his strives to make "GG" a better place. He has consistently remained one of the most (if not the most) active member in the Ventrilo, web forums, and gaming servers. He has also obligated himself to the stressful role of Ventrilo moderator and Counter-Strike:source division leader. Looking beyond some minor awkward social traits, anyone can see a dedicated and motivated man that worked his way up from "faggy" voiced new guy to a really important "faggy" voiced "GG" veteran.

So here's to you Andrew, for being such a key shovel in the uncovering of a, until recently, buried clan!

We are happy to announce that we now have a Team Fortress 2 server up. It is a custom map server and we are currently working on getting all the plugins and modifications installed and running. If you are interested in an admin position, or would like to suggest a map, head on over to the forums.

Its 2010 and the future of The Gangsta Gang is all but certain. This clan has been through a lot in our 5 year history, and this is not the first time we've been down and out without a gaming server to our name. Unlike the last time we were in hiatus, we have maintained an involved community of gamers. Our steam group and our Ventrilo server still acts as a means for us to gather and have fun together. Sure, being a community of friends gives us a warm and fuzzy feeling inside, but what fun is that without game servers to call home?

It is a personal new years resolution of mine to bring back multiple gaming servers in the coming months thus restoring this community to clan status. This is all pending my, and a few other individuals, ability to finance such a come back. Like the previous clan hiatus, we will rebound and excel to greater heights than before. When that time comes, a massive recruiting (and re-recruiting) campaign will commence. Until then, register on our forums and have fun with us online. The ventrilo connection information is now updated on the "Servers" tab above.

Well guys, as time goes on things change. I have personally lost almost all interest in video games as other life passions have arisen. I would however not like to shut down the team but give it to someone who can fund it, either on their own or by collecting donations, and run it well. This team has a long history and I don't want to see it totally destroyed, but I am turning eighteen this week and new responsibilities have come up and I'm focusing on college. So if anyone is interested, either e-mail me or post on the forums. I will however still fund the website as it hosts many personal files of mine. If you take over the team, you will receive the GameServers login information, the website administrator account, all Gangsta Gang e-mail addresses, along with the bills for the servers. If any of you can do it, it would be appreciated as I would like to pass ownership to someone new, not just kill off all the servers.

Welcome back team!
Unfortunately, I deleted the member database and forums... but I'm working on recovering all the content from the last website. Here you will find the new forums, but before posting you will have to register a new account.

What's New
Well, apart from having the Team Fortress 2 and Counter-Strike: Source servers back up, operational, and populated, we have also made the switch from phpBB forums to the intergrated e107 forums. Now, you can comment on website articles and post on the forums from the same account. In addition, now we have the ability to add extensions to make your profile behave more like a Facebook or MySpace profile. I will be adding new features as often as I can. You can also now use the login menu right from the main page instead of using the forum login. We also will be able to create a team roster and add new members immediatly after we accept them on the recruitment forum.

Feedback
As I do add new things, I would like to ask for your feedback in the forums. It is very important to me as I like this team to be run by the members, not just by the guy on top. I will try to accomplish all feasible requests. So keep posting, as I want to hear from you!

Donation Drive
Unfortunatly, I have opened up the donation drive again. This is the time where I ask any of our members who are in a situation where they are able to donate to do so. I hate pestering you guys, but it really helps out. Click the "Donation Drive" link to read my full post regarding this subject.


Lastly, this new forum should make everything more seamless and create a feeling of unity between website applications. Thanks for re-registering and inform as many members as you can of the new change.
